Welcome to the Diaryland artists ring. =] My intention is to have the ring available to active participants in artistic fields so we can enlist each other in inspiration and information. By participants, I mean graphic/commercial artists, web designers, print/layout designers, visual editors, fine artists, art majors in college, etc. The list goes on and on.
Of course, "artists" also includes writers, musicians, curators, etc., but I created the group with visual arts in mind.
There are only a few asking requirements and I hope I in no way will infringe upon someone's beliefs about art and or/aesthetics.
To be accepted into the ring, you must:
*Have a visually-pleasing design and meaningful content. I know that content is variable, but no Diaryland templates pretty please (no offense, Andrew).
*Keep banners and diaryring snippets from congesting your site or use a subtle, efficient way of displaying them. If the diary won't load well due to dozens of ring links, you're not subscribing to the ring appropriately.
*No passworded diaries.
*Post the snippet. You can alter it any way you choose to as long as you have one reference back to the ring itself.

I've had great feedback from this ring & hope you enjoy and continue to interact with each other, sharing your ideas on your trade and passions.
